Dato\u2019 Ooi \nhas more than 25 years of experience at Intel Corporation \n(\u201cIntel\u201d) and has served as its Vice President (\u201cVP\u201d) of \nthe Systems Original Equipment Manufacturer (\u201cOEM\u201d) \nProducts Group, Corporate Technology Group, and its \nDirector of Operations. His experiences at Intel included \nIntel Technology Sdn Bhd (\u201cIntel Penang\u201d) from 1976 to 1980 \nand from 1984 to 1986. He was also the General Manager \n(\u201cGM\u201d) for Intel Barbados Limited (\u201cIntel Barbados\u201d) \nfrom 1980 to 1983. He had served in several operational \nmanagement positions, Assembly Operations Manager, \nPlant Manager and GM during his stint with Intel.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7dbb778 text  elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7dbb778\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn 1986, Dato\u2019 Ooi moved to the United States of America \n(\u201cUSA\u201d), where he served Intel Corporation as its Assistant \nGM of worldwide logic components fabrication sort (\u201cFab \nSort\u201d) and assembly\/test (\u201cAssy\/Test\u201d) manufacturing; \nDirector of Component Planning and Plant Manager for A4\/\nT11 in Chandler, Arizona. He had also served as the GM for \nworldwide systems manufacturing, with Intel plants in Puerto \nRico, Ireland, Washington, Malaysia and Oregon in 1990.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div He was also an Executive VP responsible \nfor the Wafer Inspection Group product development, \nbusiness performance and strategic planning. In his current role, \nhe focuses on building strong customer relationships and \ndriving business development opportunities in the medical \ndevices and pharmaceutical sectors for the Group.\n                <\/p>\n                <p>\nMr O\u2019Brien co-founded AAL in 1998. AAL specialised in the \ndesign and manufacture of production lines for blue-chip \nmultinational companies in the medical device and \npharmaceutical industries, serving markets in Ireland,\nmainland Europe and the United States. He was appointed \nManaging Director of AAL in August 2022. \n                <\/p>\n                <p>\nMr O\u2019Brien began his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer \nwith BW Design in 1995. Following the establishment of \nAAL, he served as Technical Director, where he was involved \nin mechanical design, PLC programming and electrical \ndesign. In the mid-2000\u2019s, he transitioned into sales and \nbusiness development, leading AAL\u2019s successful strategic \nshift from the automotive sector to the life sciences sector. \n                <\/p>\n                <p>\nMr O\u2019Brien holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Production \nManagement from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
